At Mlp Residence, we love to have grandchildren and great-grandchildren come in to visit family. They may come in for their grandparents, but you can see the joy on other residents' faces as they interact with other seniors on their way to visit grandma or grandpa. We have local dance school the "County School of Dance" join us every spring to put on a dance performance for our residents. This performance is, hands down, their favourite and most talked about activity on the social calendar.
Incorporating children into the social life of assisted living facilities is a simple yet powerful way to enhance the quality of life for seniors.
