At MLP Residence, we’re embracing TikTok's fun side with our drama club's help! Our residents have recently started creating entertaining content for our TikTok page, and it’s been an exciting journey full of creativity, laughter, and just a little bit of drama—just the way we like it! As a community, we’ve been experimenting with different types of videos to see what resonates most with our viewers, and the results have been incredibly rewarding so far.
We spend time planning and rehearsing skits, trying to make sure every detail is just right. But it’s not just about acting— some of our content is just fun moments in the middle of us practicing something completely unrelated. Being on TikTok is about having fun, so you need a good sense of humour to succeed. Good thing our residents have lots of humour! Whether it’s dramatic expressions, witty one-liners, or playful dance moves, people love seeing seniors showing off their humorous side. There’s just something special about watching seniors embrace their inner comedian.
Creating content on TikTok not only can bring us closer together as a community but also allows us to connect with people outside of MLP Residence. The more likes and followers we get, the more motivated we are to continue pushing our creative boundaries. It’s truly a blast, and we can’t wait to see where this fun journey is going to take us.
