The residents here at MLP expressed their unique creativity last week with a fun birdhouse painting activity. Everybody is looking forward to welcoming the beautiful birds back this spring season with a brand-new cozy house for them to build their nests in! Each resident had the opportunity to paint their own birdhouse, choosing colours and designs that truly reflected their individuality and artistic flair.
Once the birdhouses were painted and dried, the residents were given the freedom to decide what to do with their creations. They could take their finished birdhouses home as a keepsake or leave them with our Activities Director to hang them around our property, creating cozy little homes for the birds that frequent our grounds.
At MLP, our staff and residents are eagerly anticipating the arrival of spring and the changes it will bring. We believe in sharing our space with the beautiful wildlife that surrounds us everyday. This activity brought joy to our residents, but it also helped us to make our home a welcoming environment for the birds as they migrate back to our area.
It was a perfect blend of creativity, community spirit, and a deep appreciation for the nature around us. We can't wait to see the birdhouses dotted around our property this spring!
